Mesa Boogie's are lousy

  1. I have owned one (400+) and tried a few in the store (Walkabout, Mpulse600, M2000). I don't see how anyone could be a fan. They are way overpriced, considering they are only a bit less than an aguilar pre, and equal to price in a demeter setup. They weigh too much, and are too high maintenance.

And their cabs :spit: ...just go with an epifani, or bergantino.

I'll probably get some disagreeances, and some people that agree, but I just wanted to share my opinion.
  2. Do you feel better now?
  3. Maybe it's not that they weigh too much, but you're weak?

And how do you know the Mpulse and M2000 are high maintinance? Did they explode and require rebuilding in the time you used them in the store?

I hate all generalizations. (I forgot who has that in their sig. But thanks.)
  4. all generalizations are false :D

I love Mesa tone. Why you got a amp you hated is beyond me.

...and the air we breath is truly over rated. The scuba tanks on my back give me beter air than this lousy NYC air I've been breathing.

I sure don't remember ever going to a rock show at raving to my friends at what a huge bass tone came out of those Epifani's.

That's why that make chocolate and vanilla...
  13. Love my boogie.
