I just got a Mesa Diesel 4X10 and I've got the screws off of the back panel to see what kind of speakers these are. It still doesn't want to come off. Does Mesa caulk the back panel on along with screws? or is it just in there really tight?

They're in there pretty tight. There is a foam lining in there that make have gotten sticky. Why don't you just take one speaker out of the front and check it that way? It will be much easier, I assure you.

I'm assuming it's an Eden speaker?
how do they compare to the EVM loaded cabs?

Not sure, really. I'll check into it and get back to you. Those speakers are perhaps before my time.
