Mesa Walkabout w/ poweramp?

    Walkabout scout 12 into a QSC 1450 into a 212 8 ohm cab?

    I have run the FX send on my Walkabout to the FX in on my MPulse600. Worked out pretty well. It does change the sound of the WA to my ears, but not in a bad way.

    I just took the DI out on the Mesa to the input of the QSC.

    That kills your ability to use the DI for FOH...which I like.
    Having not tried this, I think I'd prefer the fx send for that reason...

    I've not really needed more than the WA can dish out tho.
    Putting a Mesa 115 under the Scout is plenty loud enough for anything I'd need.
    I've also used just the WA head with bigger/more efficient cabs like a Hnery 8x8 or Berg AE410 with great results.

    Interesting idea tho!
