Frankly, I've grown to hate the regular Pitchblack, but this seems like it has some improvements.

I dig the idea of having two inputs, which can also have two diff tunings. Guitar/bass/drop D, open D, whatever kind of tuning. Looks like it is worth a try. I had 30 bucks store credit, so couldn't resist for 29 bucks.

If anybody wants to make me a deal on their Pitchblack, so they can upgrade, just send me a PM.

Anybody know if Guitar Center giftcards can be used at MF? My singer needs a tuner, and I have $55 in giftcards from GC.

  7. Wow! Now that's a hot deal. Too bad it's red (for me, I really don't care for much in red) but even so if I wasn't already have 2 floor and 1 rack tuner I may have to stomach red.

I got mine today and there are what appear to be some very fine cracks around the button holes in the plastic on top. Is this a normal condition or could it be defective?

Mine did not have the mentioned cracks. Interesting, and that's probably why they are 59 instead of near the MSRP of 200.

The case, being a hard plastic, mixing with other varieties of hard plastics are probably a ding on the durability of these pedals. Time will tell, but I do like the features of two inputs to a/b setups.

Thanks for the reply! It looks like I'll be returning them for an exchange.
