Hey guys, Selling my Hamer USA CruiseBass, not the imitation korean made Hamer Slammer versions. This was Hamer's idea of a super vintage jazz, the company's top of the line bass back when they were still being produced by Hamer. IMHO, the CruiseBass is definitely superior to the Fender Jazz in every way especially in feel and sound. The two most important factors for a bass. It's a shame these babies were dropped from the Hamer line. Its actually a little known secret for those of us that have played these basses that they are probably the best bang per buck around. They sold for about a grand new back in the 90's just to give you an idea of their value. *I believe this particular one was made in either 95' 'or 97', I can't recall exactly which year the seller had told me back when I bought it. It came with factory installed 2-Tek bridge and the optional seymour duncan vintage passive pickups. Classic Maple/Rosewood and Alder combination=tone for days. It's a lightweight bass too.. probably about 8lbs if I had to guess. Definitely the lightest bass I've ever owned. It's in very good condition and comes with case. Anyway, lets see what kind of offers you guys got....I'm hoping to use the cash to turnaround and get a certain bass I've spotted here in the classifieds.
very intrested, have one already, bought it new and love it...how much? i havent seen them go for more than $5oo
Sorry for not getting back to you guys sooner. Been busy with work. Anyhow, I can take pics this weekend and post it. As for selling price, make an offer and I'll get back to you. The bass I wanted on here was sold so if you guys have trade offers lets see'em.
Yeah, I don't know if I really want to part with it yet. I haven't taken the time to take pics even with a potential 550 on the line for it. Must decide...
