Thinking about adding one to my collection. Does anyone know how much these weigh roughly? Also, is the deluxe worth the extra money? Last but not least, does anyone have trouble with staying in tune? Thanks!

i love mine. it is about 8-9 lbs. dont have a problem staying int une(once the strings are broken in) me. i'm not a fan of the polyurethane finish, in which is scratches easily.

I love Fender MIA Jazz and P basses their fabulous ...but if you have the extra cash then go for the deluxe they are sweet basses I think they have superior electronics to other manufacturers.

eh, they're really two different animals. I don't think fender made the deluxe to make a "better" p-bass, just different.

Picked up the new MIA Precision, got the red chrome one. All in all it seems pretty well made. I really dig the tone I get through my Mesa 400+ :hyper:
