I know its not the place, but i'm not vocalist, so anyway: shure pg-58 vs sennheiser E 815-S for garage vocals? (loud drummer, etc). any advices are appreciated alot (or may be something else in that price range, also welcome)
Recording Gear and Equipment Forum IMHO, nothing beats a Shure SM 58 for live vocal mics, they can withstand much abuse, falls, bumps, etc. You can pound nails with these mics, they only cost about $99.00 brand new and they last a long time. FWIW, i'm a bassist that also sings lead vocals and I use the SM 58's all the time, have been for about 30 years or more! {} Treena
