    what bass? Anyone know? I love his tone, and would love to try to duplicate it. Thanks.

    What song in particular are you thinking of? I've only heard a couple of his Sinatra standards and those were played on upright.

    Hmmm, I agree, that is a great tone. Not sure what bass exactly, but could be a P+J type axe.

    Anyone else?

    I found it! It's Brian Bromberg, and he uses Dean B2 4 and 5s, Peavey B-Quad 4 and 5s, and several Bob Mick 4's.

    That's a great tone. Couldn't tell ya what it is, but it sure is nice.
