In Utah years ago I saw you play a solo bass piece, the name essentially meant your fingers were walking across tightropes. I can't seem to remember the exact name, but you quickly gave me the definition. I have never seen the release to CD. Do you remember what I am talking about? After all, I am being pretty vague. I remember it was shortly after you got the hyperbass and I liked it alot. This was the second conversation we had. The first was at Snowbird Ski Resort a concert with Will Ackerman, John Gorka and others. You asked me to come on stage and help you move gear (I did). The second was when you did a clinic at Guitar Gallery. We discussed your tunings and a specific tune I was covering at the time (Red Right Returning). I have to say the most impressive thing I have seen you do is not play the bass, but the humble way you asked Joe Zon if you could play one of the Zon basses that was not yours. My approach in dealing with people in the music industry was changed from that day forward (I was young and a little uppity), you are never to big to treat someone with respect. Thanks, Russ
I imagine that will be Music for Armchair Funambulists - it's on the 'stash' section of Michael's website. Wulf
