This beginner needs some guidance. :help:

I wish to purchase an acoustic-electric bass and I am steering towards the MK Phoenix 4-string in either black or natural. I realize the Phoenix is a discontinued model so if I wish to acquire it, I should act soon (or just wait for a used to hit E-bay).

If anyone can give me their two-cents, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you!

  2. I have a Michael Kelly Dragon Fly. It is not like the ones
now with the pegged in strings. It is also a 32" scale. When I got it it sounded like crp with the strings that was on it. As and acoustic it is not much better than a solid body but with a set of DAddario flat wound chromes it rocks when amped. All most a up right sound very warm. BUt I am not two sure you could put bigger strings on it with the pegged bridge. It took a little work on mine to get them on it with a string thru bridge.
    Wink
