    Anybody watching Michael MacDonald on Sound Stage right now?

    The band is awesome...I'm waiting for the credits to find out who the bassist is...he's awesome!!!!

    Deep in the pocket and (thankfully) well placed in the mix. He's playing a pretty 5 string Sadowsky. Did a great job with the Motown stuff and is one funky player.

    OK, the show is done...they rolled the credits and there was a list of musicians names but no instruments...and it rolled by so fast I couldn't catch them all.

    Anybody know who the bassist is?

    Thanks for the headsup. It doesn't start here in Cali for another half hour. I'll let you know if I recognise the guy. Nate East played bass on Michael's most recent record.
