Clearly, we need to ramp up some sanctions on Brazil! Jeez. The water, you think? Better fruit? Seriously; I'd seen the slapping vid before. What I'm struck hardest by is the joy with which he seems to approach playing. How come it took me most of a lifetime to understand that you get a lot farther - a lot faster - that way than by making some sort of contest with yourself or others out of it? This kid's phenomenal. Wonderful. For someone so young to play musically... kinda gives you hope for the world, huh?

this kid makes me wanna play!! Unlike most really good players who make me wanna quit lol...

I think having that childs mentality is the way to go...

  10. How awesome to see how he developed into a serious and sensational player with both great musicality and tone.
Truly a prodigy on the bass guitar.
I'm almost scared of seeing what he develops into in ANOTHER 5 years!

This kid is obviously a multi-instrumentalist, and it goes to show how playing more than bass can only improve your musicianship. Very cool!
