Hi, I play a lot of Chili Peppers songs and was wondering if the micro Q-tron will give me a similar sound to flea on songs like Sir Psycho Sexy, Warlocks, Coffee Shop etc?
    Thanks in advance

as far as live.. i know flea uses a q-tron.. but i also know that in the studio they use TONS of stuff and its processed a lot

  3. Yes, with strong emphasis on "similar sound", but Sir Psycho in particular sounds nothing like the others and I'm yet to hear a convincing reproduction of that tone.

crapusername is right. You won't get exactly the same sounds as Flea. However, it will probably be close enough for live situations. Most people won't be able the discern subtle differences between envelope filters. The only way to know if it will be close enough for you is to try it out. Good luck.
