This mainly has to deal with hover buttons.

I have made webpages using frontpage before and copied the HTML over to the editor on geocities. It was always worked until now. I did a project for school recently that involved hover buttons. I remember that had some problems too but I was able to figure it out. This one has me stumped. Here is the HTML for one of the buttons

    < applet code="fphover.class" codebase="_fpclass" width="120" height="24" >
    < param name="text" value="home" >
    < param name="color" value="#666666" >
    < param name="hovercolor" value="#000080" >
    < param name="textcolor" value="#FFFFFF" >
    < param name="bgcolor" value="#666666" >
    < param name="effect" value="glow" >
    < param name="url" value valuetype="ref" >
    < /applet >

the syntax is all correct. it calls for the applet code "fphover.class" so my natural thinking is hey it must need this... so i upload it to geocities too.. but it doesn't work...

    any ideas?

this is the page it is on, as you can see when you click the link, grey boxes appear where the bttons should be

EDIT: just a thought, but could a possibility be because it is part of a main page that involves frames?
