MIDI clock generating delay

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by gnasher1993, Apr 23, 2010.

  1. I'm looking for a stable hardware MIDI clock generator and also in the market for a new delay so I'm wondering if there's something that can do both jobs...

Does such a thing exist? I guess it would be possible with it being a time-based effect?

The Eventide Timefactor has midi ins and outs. It can sync to (definitely) and generate (I think) midi clock.

EDIT: Just checked the manual, and yes the Timefactor can do both.
  3. Ah, cool stuff. I'm just reading through the Timefactor manual now.

Any others out there? Or even any other hardware solutions for MIDI clock generators?

I built an Arduino-based MIDI foot controller a while ago. Putting together a MIDI clock generator shouldn't be too difficult.

    This looks interesting.
