MIDI Mixer/DAW hardware controller.

Discussion in 'Recording Gear and Equipment [BG]' started by Skywalker83, Apr 10, 2009.

  1. I'm looking to get a hardware MIDI controller to go along with the Firewire audio interface that i'm going to get.

Does anyone know of any reasonably good MIDI/DAW hardware controllers?

Units which have something like 16 faders (1 for each MIDI channel) and a transport bar control (Start button, pause button, record button etc)

I just prefer the hardware rather that using the fiddely on screen mixer.

    Behringer BCF2000 with motorized faders.
or a BCR2000 for a bunch of knobs.

Or if your software can handle it
    Novation Remote Zero SL USB
It has cool LCD displays you can label the knobs with.

I use a Mackie Control with my software and hardware.
    Very nice & complete unit.
