Midnight Wine looks good with a Black PG

My midnight wine jazz has a red tortoise PG on and it looks sexy.



The picture is about 3 years old, but that's the most recent one I can find. I think it looks good.

 

... i think you're on to something there. i've never seen midnight wine with red tortoise before, i kinda like it.

then again, the black pg looks awesome on anything, if you ask me.

 

Midnight Wine is such a cool color................

I'd be tempted to try to find a Midnight Wine pickguard.Or clear..................

 

Could maybe custom order? 2 ply MW/white would be boobies!

 

this lovely bass is in the hands of TBer Basstones now
but it makes a case for pearl white



at one point it had the obligatory 3 ply gloss black = sexy
at another time it had a red tort guard = also sexy
but the pearl to me looks classy

 

ever try black pickguard screws?
they are cheap and make a big impact on the overall look
almost like the pickguard is "glued" on from a distance:

Black screws, black knobs and no-hole pickup covers really spruce up a bass IMO.

But I think midnight wine P Basses w/black guard are one of the great color combos...
