I wasn't of fan of the color of my MIM P-Bass until I put on a slick black PG...
My midnight wine jazz has a red tortoise PG on and it looks sexy.
The picture is about 3 years old, but that's the most recent one I can find. I think it looks good.
wow dude that actually looks sick I don't think it would look as good on a precision though
... i think you're on to something there. i've never seen midnight wine with red tortoise before, i kinda like it.
then again, the black pg looks awesome on anything, if you ask me.
Midnight Wine is such a cool color................
I'd be tempted to try to find a Midnight Wine pickguard.Or clear..................
i've never seen a MW pickguard but that'd be awesome if they're out there
Could maybe custom order? 2 ply MW/white would be boobies!
mine used to have a white PG on it, but i prefer the black
this lovely bass is in the hands of TBer Basstones now
but it makes a case for pearl white
at one point it had the obligatory 3 ply gloss black = sexy
at another time it had a red tort guard = also sexy
but the pearl to me looks classy
ever try black pickguard screws?
they are cheap and make a big impact on the overall look
almost like the pickguard is "glued" on from a distance:
No, but I would definately like to get some black ones for mine
BTW that jazz bass looks sexy
I've changed my mind..
Midnight Wine can look good with other pickguards
thanks but nowadays she looks like this:
OMG. If you ever sell that...PM ME
theres the whole set
Im sure there some more midnight wine pics there
nevermind the vacation photos LOL
wow dude you have some NICE basses...
that silver witht he pearloid PG and pink strings is seriously one of the sexiest jazz basses I've seen
Black screws, black knobs and no-hole pickup covers really spruce up a bass IMO.
thanks man I dont own some of them anymore
But I think midnight wine P Basses w/black guard are one of the great color combos...
Yeah dude the black PG really brings of the Midnight Wine
which basses do you still have?
WOW that looks really nice
but now you don't have a tone or volume knob!
still looks great though, especially with the pick-up covers
