    Price:
    2000
    Strings:
    4
    Location:
    California
    $2000 shipped OBO
Trade for lined fretless 5 string, cash either way.

    32" scale
    Walnut body
    Macassar Ebony top
    18v EMG 2 band electronics
    29 stainless steel frets
    Ebony fretboard
    Mahogany neck
Hipshot ultralights & A style bridge
    7.5 pounds!

Comes with gig bag (not the one shown, but a GigBlade Sliver).

I need to measure the nut, but I believe it's 1 11/16". Will update.

Definitely has some wear, but nothing even remotely major. The worst is the finish on the bridge. The body wear is mostly little fingernail scratches.

Super fast neck, very easy to play. I just don't play it enough... It's a beautiful bass with a great punchy tone.

Incredible basses, I have a 5 string version. I wish it was fretless so I could trade for this.

No. It was a neat bass that was really cool, but ultimately was not for me.

It's tough to find non-Fender or non-EBMM stuff around here though!
    What are you looking for?

Looking for a browne! I google searched them and this thread popped up. After I posted I saw it was sold already. Bummer because I live in SM.

Hey everyone… Terribly sorry in advance if this is the wrong spot to do this or if I’m even allowed to do this here. I’ve been trying to track this bass down for a very long time… I was the original owner. Mike made this for me way back in May, 2007. We spent a lot of time chatting about it and other stuff… good memories. Unfortunately I had to sell it just a few years later and have ever since terribly regretted it. On a whim, I googled the bass after finding some old pics and was happy to see it still exists lol. Looks like it went from NY, to IN, to CA. Attached are the original build progress pics Mike sent me and some images from the day I got it. There’s also a link below to a very old and crappy YT vid of me trying to play it (I miss that hat too). Shot in the dark - I’d be very willing to buy it back from the current owner if they would ever consider letting it go someday. If not, at least I got to post some background history behind this little bass. Thanks!
