    Why do I find repeated green day lines so amazing entertaining time after time?

    Oh, thats right, its cause mike dirnt makes billy joe's repeated guitar lines interesting.

    Eh, Jon, the grabber died back in 1996 when Tre decided it would be fun to kick some amps on to it.

    See, if I was a Kick Ass Mod, after my last post I would have closed the thread, wouldn't that have been awesome? I liked the last line, "Better get started" , like, since it was closed and stuff, you would have to like, go search, because I would have closed this 100millonth thread on Dirnt.

    He isn't worthy of being in the FAQ. Sure, he is a solid player but still, Id rather save room in the FAQ for players like Jaco, wooten, Anthony Jackson, Jeff Berlin etc etc...

    I think wooten is over rated.. but thats just my opinion.... Mike Dirnt does rock though, he got me into bass playing.

    Why do so few people ever mention john Entwhistle or JPJ when they talk about great bass players???:confused:

    Yes, Entwhistle and JPJ would be on that faq too. I only mentioned a few names but the list would be quite vast. I just don't feel that Mike Dirnt has really done anything for the bass world thus he doesn't deserve a spot on the FAQ.

    Yea.. you're right about Dirnt.. he is cool but he really hasnt done much for the base world... expecpt for his coolness :)

    Skill has nothing to do with what gets a player listed in the FAQ. Hence the term FAQ, Frequently ask questions. If his name gets brought up alot and doesnt turn into a slug fest, then maybe one day, he'll get his name in there.




    If I catch you actin up or see people startin to bash Mike Dirnt, then I'll close the thread, send out warnings, repeat offenders will be referred to Paul for a possible ban.


    Im not Jay, Im not as nice. :D

    Dirnt sucks...lol, yeah, I'm not a fan, but you've got to do better than that. Or don't. Depends on whose watch you're on...now is my time, but give Gen. Mama Cass a chance at it and you're history, bucko.
