Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows what strings Mike Dirnt uses on his Fender P's. I got a MIM Jazz, and I'd like re-create his sound on a Ampeg bass amp (not sure what model, 100 watts, entry level, basically) and a Fender 45 guitar amp. My Ernie Ball Slinkies sound.......meh. They're roundwound, and they're too noisy when you slide your fingers, so I'd like some help. I believe they are the "Super" variety.

    Thanks

That's what it said in the Bass Player interview. I think they were either .045-.105 or .050-.105.
