This is the holy grail. After owning more than 50 basses in my life, from Sadowskys to Foderas to an all original '66 Fender Jazz, I custom ordered this Lull with every spec I ever dreamed of: It's a Mike Lull double reverse P bass, passive, 34", B is strung through the body, alder body, maple neck, birdseye maple fretboard, 24 frets, gold nitro finish (color matched to Les Paul Goldtop), aged white pearloid pickguard, only 7.8 lbs. Knobs are volume/blend/tone, Hipshot Ultralite Tuners, and custom P pickups made by Seymour Duncan exclusively for Mike Lull. Beautifully low action. Has always been strung with flats, has hardly been played, so no fret wear to speak of. The only blemish is a small chip at the bottom/back of the bass (see pic). It took 6 months for Mike to build (waiting was the hardest part) and it's less than a year and a half old. Comes with a really nice OEM Lull Protec gig bag. Sounds amazing, like a vintage P bass, but with a bonus thick growly P pickup at the bridge for when you want it to sound like a Jazz bass on steroids. As you probably know, reversing the P's give the lower strings more definition and the higher strings a thicker sound. The reason for selling is that I just don't play bass anymore and I can't justify having such a nice piece just sit, collecting dust. Not in a hurry to sell and sorry, not interested in any trades of any kind.
