What a gorgeous finish! A little over 8 pounds. Very tempting.

I know it may be hard to explain but what are its tone characteristics? I'm not familiar with the pickups. Does it sound like a Thunderbird?

So what does this bass sound like? Great question!

Since I've never played an original thunderbird, I am struggling for a description, so i went to Lulls website and found his description. Here it is and all I can say is "That's it! That's what these sound like!"

Mike’s take on the classic T-Bird style bass takes “the thunder" to a whole new level! The T4 has deep and huge tones reminiscent of that 70’s grunt we all know and love but with a twist of extra sweetness and articulation. This unique tonal difference was accomplished by Mike reverse engineering a set of 1964 T-Bird pickups while adding his own take to the design creating truly earth shattering bassaliciousness!

The T5, Mike’s five string version of our famous T4 bass, gives you all the monster sounds of the T4 but with the added low ‘B’ for when you just gotta get that stomach rumbling low down dirty thump only achievable with that fifth string humming away to your touch. With the ‘B’ string thru-body effect you get a true full sound with no loose-string-rattle feel.
