When-New Video Demo by Bass Club Chicago:

This is truly one of *those* basses. Serious magical tone mojo in this one, and there’s no denying the look. This is a 2011 instrument, ordered by Bass Club Chicago for their inventory. I bought it in 2014 and swapped out the hardware to black (bridge, tuners, control plate, and strap locks) and replaced the pick guard. Organically, the bass has *it* in terms of tone – bottom, focus, full mids, even highs. I know it sounds like salesmanship, but this one is the real deal. The slap tone will make you smile. Bias the back pickup and the fingerstyle tone will make you giggle. The Nords & Bart are a match made in heaven. In a mix, this bass sits just right. It plays like a dream and is ridiculously light. It is in excellent condition, right at 9/10. I’m only selling because I have a great ash M5V P/J and an alder/rosewood M5V that I gig heavily.

Dang- that’s purty. M5V’s are great basses (I have 2), great necks and balance wonderfully. The 18mm string spacing is a subtle change over other brands, but makes them super easy to play. GLWTS!

    Active/passive switch?

  6. Yes, sorry. I forget it's there. Vol is push/pull - down = active, up = passive.

    Will you trade

  10. PM's responded....quick summary below:

    - No trades. Thinning the herd. This one stings the most, though. This bass sounds INCREDIBLY good. And it's light. Four-hour dance gigs are a breeze.

    - Please peek at comparable basses. This one is priced to move.

    Thanks for your time!
