    I've been checking this guy out lately and the composer Mike Post (BMI) is amazing. He's done so many awesome TV show jingles over the years. Off the top of my head he's done - The A Team, Chips, The Rockford Files, Night Rider, Magnum PI, Hill Street Blues, and more recently a bunch of cop shows like NYPD Blue. Some of it is super cheesy but the dude has the magic touch (or used to). Here's a link to a Massive list...

    I was listening to the Classic Hits radio station on Mike Post's birthday and they played the Rockford Files song. They mentioned he played guitar on "I Got You Babe" and did arrangements on "Classical Gas."
