A year later, this shnit is done.

    Original color: Baltic Blue

New color: (Eh, not sure. I didn't buy the stain or stain it)

So, defretting it and coating the neck was the easy part... Getting the paint off, and the laquer off... that was the hard part.

I'm glad its finally done, I've been wanting to play it for ever, and now I can.

Here is a shot before the stain, and an after shot:

    Um.. oh ya.

My friend who was helping me do this had it for the last few months... he put new pick ups in it (not sure what kind), and stained it that color...

It has a very woody sound, I want to get some shilaque or something to give it more weight and hopefully some more balls. It is very mid rangey, and cuts like a hot knife through butter

Ok since on one else wants to egg on the infamous mike money, I'll do it :D.
There is some farting and what not, but I'm going to attribute that to a poor recording quality and crappy pc speakers. From what I gather, the tone is pretty decent- probably better than any off-the-shelf mexi model. If I had to put a price on that tone, it would be roughly $300.
