Miles Davis bass webinar

Today was so special -- Berklee's bass department put together a webinar on the topic of Miles Davis and bass! Miles had so many exceptional players in his band, especially bassists. Many of them were present today, all telling tales.

This, BY FAR, was the best one of these webinars I've attended. The stories ranged from humorous to impressive to ultra-deep. And everybody was so warm, genuine and relaxed. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

In the photo below, Ron Carter was showing off the horn that Miles gave him (after Ron stepped on it!), complete with mouthpiece and mute! Even crazier -- Ron's son played that trumpet in his high school band!
