  8. Well the ad is gone, so someone probably bought it, put better knobs on it, and will list it for $425.

    the early mims came that way as i recall.
     
  11. Yes... something something is coming back to my foggy memory. I think the "Squier Series" basses had those as well. (They were labeled as "Fender" but in small letters at the headstock read "Squier Series", and many people sanded off that part of the logo.)
