What does MIM(when concerning Fender basses)mean/stand for?
The country they're made in.
MIM = Made In Mexico
MIJ = Made In Japan
MIA = Made In America
as a newbie myself, i learned a lot from looking at the FAQs... for a simple question, try starting there...
but as has already been stated, it means made in mexico
my personal meanings MIM=rubbish
MIJ=dollar for $$,awesome.
GET DOWN !!!....INCOMING !
MIM isn't rubbish, I've heard some quite sweet sounding MIMs, and used MIA's are a pretty good price I think. but thats just my opinion
MIA = American Fender = Sucks
MIJ = Japanese Fender = Sucks
MIM = Mexican Fender = Sucks
I'm not much of a Fender fan.
