Mind dilemma

    I'm confusing ........i've a wonderfull Music Man Stingray 5 strings but i'm struggling to have typical Fender sound under my fingers so i thought i sell the Stingray to by a Fender jazz but everyone start to say don't do it you will regret the MM and now it's a kinda of mind trip ......unfortunately i don't have the money to keep the MM and buy the Fender so i'm trying to make up my mind ......but it's very difficult....PLEASEEE give me some advise!!!!!!!!!!!

    If you like your MM, than keep it. Selling a bass you like is usually a bad decision. A Fender Jazz is as common as you get, and you'll have the cash to get oen eventually- just save awhile and look for a good deal. If you don't really like your MM much anymore, than by all mens- sell it and get the Fender.
