Mission Impossible tapping video

Discussion in 'Recordings [BG]' started by ChiliPepper, Sep 7, 2005.

  1. Hi,

i recorded the video this afternoon . Keep in mind that i play 6 string for 2 weeks and i wasn't even done with the 4 string version. I had to rearrange some stuff for the 6 string. Maybe some of you dig it .
It's a small file so it shouldn't take too long

    Thanks :)

I liked it, still a little choppy; but as you a said it's something you're working on.

  3. Thanks. I'm still in the ''getting used to 2 more strings'' phase :D

Before going much further, I'd sit down and figure out:

    1. what time signature is the original in?
    2. what time signature is my arrangement for? (is it the "U2 version?")
    3. what time signature(s) am I playing it in? :)
    4. try recording when playing just the left hand part, then just the right hand part, then both together. What changes?

  5. hmm...thanks for the input :) 'll see what i can do but right now i'm focusing on playing songs that i could play on the 4 string. It helps to get used to 2 more strings :D

...and i'll start with this books soon

I'm almost positive that the bass on the cover of the book is a Ken Bebensee.
