Does anyone use more than one distortion/fuzz/overdrive pedal at a time? How does it sound?

Usually starts to sound more and more like fuzz.

Hey Toasted, do you have any samples of that? i have been eyeballing that pedal for awhile now, but cant find any samples of it. i asked David Main about them a few weeks ago, but he hasnt responded with samples, but thats not to say that he hasnt communicated with me, so no disrespect to him at all.
He assures me its the be-all-end-all of overdrive pedals, but at that price i want samples first, you know?

    Thanks for any possible help.

I like to feed the SansAmp with my UB-1 on distorted setting.
Also, the bad bad dist in my Korg AX-1B finds a brand new relief when you push a Fulltone into it with just a touch of grind.

Btw - they are Huge. That pic is about life size.

Anyway, dont get David to make a clone of the 'zekiel, he really shines when you work with him on something new.

In a kind o mad professor way he prefers doing new things / variations than just production line work.

what did you do that was custom on it?

hmmmm...what could be added to an overdrive pedal to make it better?

I didnt make any "custom" mods to it - its a one of in itself.

And its still unique (i believe)

David sold his, but he didnt have one with a preamp, he had a much smaller one to fit his board. Same distortion section tho.

Who is the other one? Do they have the full size?

yup, I sold mine. t'was a good pedal, I just have/had too many distortions / od pedals.

The small version I have was about fulldrive footprint size, slightly bigger.

  17. thread resurrection!

I was A/B'ing my boss ODB3 with my guitarist's Russian Big Muff (merely trying to convince myself to go buy a muff asap!) and the sounf of both together is SONIC CHAOS! totally awesome!

does anyone else use 2 :)eek:oops:r more) dist/od/fuzzes together, and does it have any place in a band setting outside of the stoner/doom genres? :D not knocking them at all, in fact I may actually have to start a side project!

Resurrection is right! :) I use a Pigtronix fuzz/OD combo, and I can dial it to give sounds that I think would be suitable for electric blues (AKA stoner lite) or math/industrial.
