Okay, I've entertained myself by reviewing some of the forum history, and this idea has come up though I haven't found it divulged at length. For those who mix various rosins for a hybrid, how exactly is this accomplished? Which rosins are used and in what ratio? I'd like to try this, but would also like some more details before I spend $20 or more creating some half-mixed pile of goop.
  2. can't say as I've tried it myself, seems a little messy. ;) But I have know people who swear by a 50/50 mix of nymans and pops for french bow.

You could set 2 rosin cakes upside down in a bowl on the dashboard of your car with the windows rolled up...but I just alternate rosins as I swipe my bow across them when I want to try this.

It seems a reasonable alternative, and you can go back if you don't like what you hear.
