IMG_1140.JPG IMG_1142.JPG IMG_1143.JPG Some call it a frankenfender, some would call it the ultimate 60s precision bass. A 2009 fender AVRI 62 preci neck ($380), MJT body in black aged (not relic) nitro ($280), gotoh 640 ($100), badass bridge ($80), Nitrate pickguard aged ($75) and all other parts aged. Cts orange cap electronic with 5% overwound lindy Fralin pickup ($100)......and aged Dunlop strap locks....
This is the bass posted in "basses", but I am afraid I have to part it out!
The neck is posted already and here is the body: MJT is known for their nice reissue bodies, I had to wait a little longer for one just under 4lbs. It is swamp ash in black nitro aged but no relic, like a closet classic what Fender called it a while ago. The pickguard is real nitrocellulose made by a guy in Oregon who sells them on ebay. I had Spitfire guards in the past, these are just as spectacular but look more authentic! I am asking $320 for body with guard, I paid 500 bucks for it.......

Thanks for catching this!!!! If the body is a whole bass it is 8lbs.....The body itself is just shy of 4lbs. I ordered it with specs 4lbs or lighter.
