    Hey guys-

Looks like the 4-string Bart MK1 that comes with Lakland 44-01's is fairly close to the Nordy dual coil size. To be exact...

    Nordy - 3.95/1.25

    MK1 - 4.25/1.33

You could either go with a little bit of a gap or have some pickup covers made. What do you think? Would it look funny as a drop in replacement?

It may look funny, but I bet it sounds amazing.

With that kind of gap I'd definitely look into some wood covers. I can't imagine the price would be ridiculous.
  3. i't would probably look wierd as a drop in replacement.. but you could always build wood cover rings.. like on a guitar humbucker.. that would be easy cheap and could look cool..

    Genius! :hyper:

Nordstrand's signature series pick-ups (Dual Coils, Fat Stacks, and Big Singles) are all that size.

I'd be interested to see what you do, because I may end up doing it msyelf!
