I just received this bass and it's everything I thought it would be, much like a Fodera in tone, feel and looks. There are very few of these in the country and I may hold on to this if the right trade does not come up as I'm looking for a fretless 5 or a Sadowsky. Here is the old thread:
    and more recent:

    For Sale and for Trade:

    - MLP King SC5
    - Alder Body
    - Burl Maple top
    - Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard
    - Dunlop Vintage Frets
    - 24 fret
    - 5 Piece Neck Through
    - 18v Noll preamp : master vol / pull active / passive, pickup blend, 3 band cut /boost eq , passive tone
    - Haussell Dual Coils with Matching Wood Covers
    - Brass Nut
    - 19mm Spacing At Bridge
    - 1.875 At Nut
    - 9lbs 2oz
    - Fast Feeling Neck, Soft C Shape
    - Extended B
    - Gotoh Tuners
    - Scale Length 34.7 Inches
    - Ships in New HSC

    Looking for Fretless 5s + or - cash/ Sadowsky NYC + or - cash
    $2375 shipped in the CONUS
  2. Wow! Apparently your bass collection has no limits and knows no bounds!
  3. Very nice bass! Are you sure you don't want to just sell it outright instead of trade?

    how about Zebaoth 6 fretted?
  5. great bass, played it. rare fingerboard these days

I have a ebony/koa/walnut SC5. I have compared it to several new Fodera Imperials and these basses hold up

    and a 1/3rd , heck a 1/4 of the new Fodera prices

  6. you might want to also mention that bass also has compound radius fingerboard, just like Fode.......
  7. This bass is so sick! I've played it as well when it first came to the states, the neck feels really good...

Good luck with the sale. I really hope these start to gain more popularity in the US, they are definitely on par with much more expensive instruments!
