MM Pickup for a 3-way switch

Discussion in 'Pickups & Electronics [BG]' started by Kraig99, Sep 15, 2002.

  1. I want to get a MM pickup for a bass I am putting together. I want the pickup to wired to a 3 way coil selector switch like Stingray 5s and Sterlings have. Do I have to get a special type of MM style pickup to use a 3 way switch or can any MM pickup be wired this way? If so, how do I wire it? Thanks!
  2. Search for John Wymore here. He owns Black Rose Customs, and is an authorized Seymour Duncan dealer. He maintains a good stock of SD pickups and preamps, and can ship rapidly from stock. His pricing is excellent. I bought my SD Hot P from John and was 100% satisified with the service and price.
