    Hey

I'm looking into buying an SR5 and I noticed while browsing that some of the rosewood boards seem darker or lighter that others. Is this down to lighting or do different batches of basses have rosewood from different areas?

    thanks

Rosewood varies in color depending on the tree. No real difference in anything but appearance.
