MM year of manufactured

    I wanted to know how to read the manufactured year of MM basses. Please advice, Thanks...........

    Usually(always?) the neck joint will have date stamps.
    This Site has some listings of serial numbers that you can compare against, it should give you a decent idea if you don't want to or can't take the bass apart.
    I't s also a great general resource for MM basses.

    It's also a good practice to disassemble each bass you buy! :) I do and just can't fight that. As soon as I have it in my hands I get desperate to drive home and totally tear it apart. In the case oc Musicmans, it's such a pleasure to watch every detail and see how well constructed these basses are. Good luck!

    You can ask on the Ernie Ball forum for a DOB if you have the serial number. Date stamps don't always tie up with the date the instrument was completed, although that's rare.
