Just had a steaming bowl of edamame (lightly salted) and a water glass of Bailey's while I'm waiting for the lasagna to finish cooking. It doesn't get any better than this...

Edamame is soybeans. They're served cold and lightly salted. Commonly found in sushi restaurants, and growing in popularity.

    They're quite good.:D

Before you all run off and get some, it's important to know to remove the beans from the pod before eating. I didn't....

I buy them at Trader Joe's frozen and already shelled...almost as decadent as shelled pistachios.

mmmmm.....edamame from Trader Joes. I like the ones that aren't shelled yet. Slice up some maguro, hamachi, and sake and I'm lovin' life.

  13. You aren't allowed not to like unagi. Heck, the first time I tried it, my then girlfriend ordered it. We did get married later, of course :D
