Just wondering if any consideration has been given to having an alternate version of TalkBass for mobile phones and Blackberrys and such. Lots of sites have a "m." version that leaves out graphics and other data-rich stuff that you cannot see on a mobile unit anyway, allowing the user to read the info they're looking for faster. This would make it easier to ask questions on the forum from a gig, for example, and get an answer quickly instead of waiting 60-90 seconds for each page to load. Or maybe it already exists...?
Will subscribing give me a password to get to a website that just has the text version of these forums? Or will it just provide a little bit more money to the website developers so that they might be able to develop a mobile version?
I get TB on my phone using Sprint internet,I can answer Pm's,see all photo's ,granted it can be cumbersome, esp moving to the next page,I would like to be able to choose last page as an option.I have the musiq phone.
You don't have to post in a thread to be able to subscribe. But it's a good way to indicate you're interested in the thread.
I have the iPhone and the pages load decently quick. Flash does not display so that just means I do not have to see the ads. I will probably upgrade my iPhone next month so I can get the 1.4 mbps downloads.
