I love my Behringer BDI 21 which is basically a sansamp bass driver at a fraction of the cost.
One thing i want to do is mod it with a mid control.
    Is this possible?
    Anyone have success?
Anyone know of people who can do this?
  2. I'm sure Behringer uses surface mount technology which for all practical purposes makes the mod infeasible.

And if somehow you could find someone to do the mod, the cost would be a heck of a lot more than the cost of the pedal.

EDIT - Having said that here's a link to a different mod on the pedal.
    Finnigan's wake likes this.

I did the mod descibed in the video on my BDI21. I must say it's absolutely awesome now! It has always lacked a lot of mid presence in a band situation and with the mod I can now get the SVT sound very nicely without this huge mid scoop.
This is mainly done by the "notch filter" switch
If you want to get a more "B15 like" sound then the other switch (bypass of bandpass filter) is good but it changes the tone a lot.

Mod done. The sound change dramatically, and i lost most of the "growl". Anyway is a switchable mod.
