Modified Sansamp BDDI???

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by andreas_bass, Nov 24, 2002.

  1. Hi!
I've got a SansAmp BDDI that I really love. It sounds really great.
I just have a few questions:
I'm thinking of to put a mid-control on the pedal. Just like the RBI. Is that possible? Ís there anyone here that have done that? Which frequence would be best?
    Thankful for any answers.

I have never opened a SABDDI so I don't know what it looks like on the inside but considering how much research those guys put into the tube emulation concept I imagine that there is some sort of an integrated circuit in there that does everything. So, I am not sure where your mid-frequency control would fit in. Just use a Boss equalizer...
  3. And ruin his sound?:p

    Get the RBI

The Sansamp uses surface mount technology (I think). So everything is really small and compact inside. It would be really hard to fit anything extra into that little box, so I'm guessing it's not really likely you're going to be able to add a mid control.
