I have a question for you guys. I know that John Myung has used a Mesa Modified Triaxis. Can anyone tell me what exactly that means? Like what was modified about it? Is is exactly the samething as the Triaxis, only altered for lower frequencies? Would one have to be custom ordered from Mesa? All help and info is greatly appreciated.

  2. Yes, you can modify a Triaxis for Bass.

It's a custom order direct from Mesa.
It's made to go an octive lower then the guitar model, much like the Fulltone Bass Drive is an octive lower then the Fulltone Fulldrive.

The electronics are only done at the factory.

    Contact them at:

Donne, thanks for the response. I called them and unfortunatly they don't offer the mod anymore. They decided it takes too long to do. I mean, i'm sure if i wanted to pay them like 2x or 3x the cost, they'd do it, but i don't want to pay that much, so oh well.
