Modifying a RAT 2

    No, not the rodent, but the venerable distortion pedal...

    Does anyone know (or know where to find the info) how to modify a Rat 2 to keep more of the low end (if this is at all possible)?

    No idea how it's done, but I'm sure it's possible.

    I'd be interested in hearing about this mod as well, as I moved away from a vintage Rat to a Boss HM-2 for the same reason — loss on the low end. I really do prefer a Rat's distortion, but it was too brittle on a bass.
