anyone else privy to this fairly new brand of pedals? it seems like they're putting out low-cost versions of old boss pedals--their chorus seems to hold up against the boss ce-2:
I was gonna ask if anyone had tried these as well since a local shop is carrying them at a pretty cheap pricepoint, but I couldn't think of the brand name. anyone?
I had the opportunity to check out the Aqua Chorus last weekend. It seems to be well made (in China) and it sounded good to me. I would compare it to current offerings from other companies like Boss, Digitech and Ibanez in terms of tone and value. IMO, the chorus doesn't really stack up to some boutique chorus pedals, but it seems to be a good performance/price ratio. I didn't test any of the other Modtone pedals.
