I have an older 5 string neck through Modulus. It does not have a truss rod. How can this be adjusted for too much relief?

    It can't.

    It shouldn't have to be.

Unless you are getting a ton of fret buzz, it is designed to be left alone, and you are not s upposed to adjust a truss rod to change your action. It is purely meant to allow anough room for string vibration.

If you are getting a ton of fretbuzz you can:

Increase your string gauge to medium or medium-heavy

Send the bass to Modulus to have them look at it.
