modulus sweet spot

    hey i am thinking about getting a modulus sweet spot 4 string i was wondering if anyone could give me some specs on the bass cause my comps kinda screwed up and tell me what you think the tone is like. Thanks-andrew

  4. I have a q4ss w/ emg's. With the preamp you can dial in a good variation of tones, all very clear and resonant as per most emg's. I can get a really nice, clear, deep tone; modern, but in a good way. You don't get the tonal pallete of a regular q4, but then again, I don't use all the tones in my jazz(i.e. 2 pickup). I would relate q4ss vs. q4 to sterling vs. jazz in versatility. It depends on the if it's emg's and barts I guess too.
