    Hello all,

Been seriously considering a Modulus for some time now and I think I might just have to pull the trigger. I really dig the FU both for the looks as well as the tone. I've never found an opportunity to play the VJ but I have played a FU on a few occasions and liked it a lot. I found it to be pretty diverse tonally with the OBP-3(plucking technique goes a long way too). Concerning the VJ, anyone know how it compares to the FU in terms of tonal diversity, I wanna know if I am missing anything before I spend my hard earned monies on a rather pricey bass :)

That's basically like saying does a jazz bass have more sounds than a music man... There isn't much variations on either but having two pickups helps. So ask yourself if you want JJ, J/MM, or just MM.
