I'm not 100% sure I want to do this but I'm thinking of selling my Modulus VJ. This is the second one I have owned and they are great basses. This one is passive and currently has a set of Bill Lawrence pickups installed. Also has a d-tuner installed. Currently strung with flats. Includes a black PG and a tort PG. Comes with a set of black knobs installed but I will also include a set of silver ones.

I'm not sure of the year because the d-tuner plate blocks the serial number. It is a newer model with a truss rod.

No trades please. Bass will be double boxed and I'll include a Roadrunner gig bag.

What other PU have you used with this bass? Do you have original PU & would you include with sale?
    Does bass have Modulus case?

    Would you ship to Canada?

I have not used any other pickups with this bass. The bass had the Bill Lawrence pickups in it which I believe were installed by the previous owner. They typically came with Barts installed. I think they were also available with Villex pickups for an upcharge.

I do not have the Modulus case. If I were to ship to Canada any additional shipping cost and taxes would be on you.

10 lbs even with the bathroom scale method. I had another VJ years back that I swear was heavier.

Yes it is a phenolic fretboard. I've had the bass for about a year I got it in trade from another TB member. He messaged me a while back with the serial number and indicated it was manufactured in 2000. The bass is in great shape.

it's almost definitely alder judging from the grain and Modulus used alder on pretty much everything.

I think all my questions have been answered in the prior posts, except for, how do you negotiate the sale here? I'm familiar with, have "done business" on eBay & Reverb.com, but this being more of a discussion forum, how do you discuss making the deal? I see you have moved quite a few beautiful basses, I figure you know the drill. Thanks,

    Todd
