SOLD Monarch Deluxe 33” scale - for sale or trade for 32” scale bass

I am offering a fantastic Fodera Monarch Deluxe 33” scale bass for sale or trade (only specific trades).

The bass was built in 2017 and has an alder body with a curly walnut top wood and back wood, as well as matching wooden pickup covers. It has Fodera Duncan dual coils in the 60’s position, chrome hardware with D-tuner, abalone butterfly and fretboard markers, and the Pope custom 3-band preamp. There isn’t a scratch on the bass or any player wear because it has not really been gigged. It originally had gold hardware. I sold it once and the new owner swapped it to chrome (bought from Fodera)…I acquired it again after the HW had been swapped. Has the Fodera hard case and all of the case candy and tools, plus the certificate of authenticity.

I have a condition in my hands that is making playing longer scale basses very painful. However, anything too short is also painful….so I have figured out through trial and error that 32” is my pain-free sweet spot.

I will also consider trades for 32” scale basses +/- cash as necessary.
I will also consider Fender basses from the late 60’s and 70’s.

 

The board is rosewood. Unfortunately I don’t have the gold hardware.

Those Empire basses are sweet. I had one and had to sell it because of the scale length…too painful with the hand issues.
